Alek Tarkowski

Alek Tarkowski is a sociologist working at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computational and Mathematical Modelling at the University of Warsaw. He is the Public Lead of Creative Commons Poland and has served the Board of Strategic Advisors to the Prime Minister of Poland, responsible for issues related to digital technologies, society and culture. Alek is a member of the “Culture 2.0″ project and co-author of a blog under the same name. For the last six years he has been actively involved in the promotion of free culture: open production, co-operation and distribution models in culture, science and education.
